Tencent Open-Sources Low-Latency Simultaneous Translation Model
Tencent has released Hy-SimulMT, an open Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation model designed to deliver accurate speech translation with roughly three seconds of latency.
It is the edition’s clearest globally relevant Asian-cycle release: an open real-time speech model that could expand access to bilingual voice applications.
